Oh, I was going to write this song for you girl, Before you broke my heart and threw it off of the World. There's not a day, when I don't sit and wonder, Could we have been happily ever after? Oh, you're just a whisper in the wind, a whisper that comes to no end. Oh, you're just a whisper in the wind, a whisper that breathes Yasmin. And, as the moon dances acrost the forbidden sea, Will thou take arte and will arte take thee? To join in holy matrimony, But all you wanted me to be I cannot be. Oh, you're just a whisper in the wind, a whisper that comes to no end. Oh, you're just a whisper in the wind, a whisper that breathes Yasmin.

You play the guitar like the jester plays the court, Full of empathy, charisma and retort. Among those harkened ears listen to a melody pass them by, Once you hear the track, there's no going back, in your mind's eye's where I lie. Endless wonder, Cognitive amnesia, Endless wonder, now. It's hard to imagine, when the situation doesn't arise, When you can only see black through both open and closed eyes. Escape their reality, and embrace own of your own, Don't accept their word as God like a dog would do to a bone. Endless wonder, Cognitive Amnesia, Endless wonder, now.

As he sits, and he ponders, He wonders what his next move should be. Should he hide and wait, and hope for the best, Or go to find the enemy. With pack and horse, and soldier and saddle, He charges into the unwinnable battle. All in pursuit for the one he desires, A princess of old who burns in the fires. Won't you stay with me, Even though I'm incomplete. And won't you still love me, Even though I'm just half the man that I used to be. It was sixty of them, against three hundred men, Easy to see death was on the horizon. When outta the blue, they saw a break through, At least what they saw they hoped was true. Sixty horsemen, all in a line, They arrived just in the nick of time. For our hero you see was about to get swarmed, So he rode right into the storm. Won't you stay with me, Even though I'm incomplete. And won't you still love me, Even though I'm just half the man that I used to be. He smashed the gate, and he charges the door, Killing all that stand before him. He climbs the tower and proceeds to seek, The women from his destiny. He pulls back the drape and he sees her face, And the knife plunged into her grace. She died of shock right there and then, And our hero never went back again. Will you stay with me, Even though I'm incomplete. And will you still love me, Even though I'm half the man that I used to be.

I don't know you, but I remember your name, And the man in the clouds says that he feels the same. You're a wanderer, a heathen, a boy among men, You lost your honour way back when. The poppies were red, as were the rivers, Filled with the blood of the traitors and sinners. Decided by a rotten council of men, All together they numbered ten. Ten was the number they never did see, Whilst cowards and cut-throats rub hands with glee. Property and wealth oh yes; all will be theirs, If only dishonour could be bought and not spared. Up in these holy highlands we search, Losing hope but not faith in turn. A fable, a tale and an ode spun for you, What happened to the man that was cut right through? Children tell stories of you dead in the night, About the man who survived through pure will and might. His clothes torn and ravaged; his face bruised and worn, But the boy from the highlands lives on in this song. The drunkards and harlots, they preach his name, And the sailors and hunters swear that they feel same. He's a figurehead, he's a legend, he's a ghost of all trades, But don't you dare call Sgt. Davis by name.
